Dr. Cedrick Mah obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. He received his Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, graduating with Dean’s Honours and as class valedictorian. During his studies, he was president of the Canadian Association of Optometry Students and was awarded the prestigious CAO Leadership Award at graduation.
Dr. Mah completed a residency at the Oklahoma College of Optometry, specializing in ocular disease with an emphasis in low vision rehabilitation. During residency, he managed complex ocular diseases and provided on-call services seeing acute ocular emergencies at the local ER. Additionally, he provided low vision services at the Lesley L. Wells Vision Center and Oklahoma School for the Blind. Dr. Mah is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and lectures on advanced procedures.
Dr. Mah is passionate about providing quality vision care to patients of all ages, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their vision and ocular health. He has special interests in ocular emergencies, myopia control, low vision, and glaucoma. Outside of work, Dr. Mah loves to build jigsaw puzzles, read and is an avid hiker. He is excited to call Vancouver home and explore what the city has to offer.
