Dr. Evelyn Lo obtained her Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University in Portland Oregon. In her final year of studies, she completed an intensive ocular disease rotation at the No. 1 ranked Eye Hospital in the United States, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She graduated with distinction and was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Award for her exceptional service and commitment to optometry.
Dr. Lo is not only passionate about each patient’s vision but is an advocate for ocular health and prevention of eye diseases. She enjoys all aspects of Optometry but is especially interested in treating dry eyes, myopia management and undoubtedly, ocular disease. She also collaborates with the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center in Guangzhou, China to provide continuing Optometric education to Doctors, students and the patients. Currently, Dr. Lo serves as the President of the provincial association BC Doctors of Optometry.
Outside of Optometry, Dr. Lo is an avid LEGO collector and loves to build LEGO modular buildings. Her other hobbies also include badminton, baking, kayaking, photography and world travel.
