Dr. Luk received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, and it is notable that she was on the Dean’s Honour List for both! After graduating, she gained valuable clinic experience in several private practice settings in Ontario. Dr. Luk made the move to BC as she loves being outdoors. She enjoys snowboarding, running and road biking in her downtime.
Over the years, Dr. Luk has volunteered for organizations such as Cycle for Sight, VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), OAO (Ontario Association of Optometrists), and the Lakeridge Hospital Diabetic Support Group. She has also served on a mission trip with VOSH in Mexico. Dr. Luk currently sits on the membership committee for BC Doctors of Optometry.
Dr. Luk is passionate about Dry Eye Therapy. Her vast training and expertise are invaluable to patients who require customized advanced dry eye treatments. She has worked alongside leaders in the dry eye field and has also lectured on this topic. Dr. Luk is committed to staying up to date with the latest technologies and treatment protocols to better serve her patients.
Her enthusiasm for both Optometry and Dry Eye Therapy makes her a wonderful addition to our Team here at Mount Pleasant!
You will now find us at our new and improved clinic at 450 East Broadway, just a few blocks east, on the corner of East Broadway and Guelph St.
We now have 15 underground parking spots reserved for staff and patients. In addition, there is free parking beside the clinic on Guelph Street all day, and in front of the clinic on East Broadway between 10am and 3pm.
