Dr. Mowbray completed a double major in his undergraduate studies: a Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo (UW) and a Bachelor of Business Administration at WLU. He then went on to get his Doctorate of Optometry also at UW, graduating in 1999.
In late 1999, Dr Mowbray moved to Vancouver and joined Dr Robin Simpson at MPOC. In 2006, Dr. Mowbray took on full ownership of the clinic, and proceeded to expand the practice to match the growth, and diversity, of our neighbourhood. He has since retired from seeing patients but still helps with various projects at the clinic when he can.
These days, Dr Mowbray enjoys time at home in North Vancouver with his family and pets. His hobbies include collecting and spinning vinyl records, golf, yoga, paddleboarding, and world travel.
